On July 14, FORTUNEChina.com unveiled “Fortune China 500”. GWM was ranked 100th with operating revenues of 56.784 billion yuan, moving 18 places up from last year. This is the fifth time that GWM has made the list since 2010, with its place continuing to rise.
Data shows the threshold of “Fortune China 500” this year reached 8.23 billion yuan, up 13 percent year on year. Besides, the total revenues and profits of the companies listed have grown: the total revenues hit 28.9 trillion yuan, accounting for more than half of China’s GDP in 2013, up 10.4 percent; and the total profits reached 2.5 trillion yuan, up 13.5 percent.
According to sources, “Fortune 500” has become one of the most influential business lists in the world, “Fortune China 500” covers all Chinese companies listed at home and abroad, the list is based on information officially disclosed by listed companies on stock exchanges, and candidate enterprises are evaluated based on their operation revenue data.
