On September 5, 2019, Great Wall Motors and Autoliv signed a joint research statement at GWM HAVAL R&D Center for joint road safety evaluation studies in North America. While serving the existing markets and products of Great Wall Motors, Autoliv will increase the safety technology and product support for the globalization strategy of Great Wall Motors as a strong support for Great Wall Motors to enter the America market.
According to the statement, Great Wall Motors and Autoliv will establish the North American Safety Evaluation Joint Research Laboratory. The Laboratory will conduct relevant research for the North America market based on both sides’ technological and testing resources in the world, and support the implementation of Great Wall Motors’ strategy in accordance with the laws and regulations of various road safety authorities.
Hu Shujie, Senior Vice President of Great Wall Motors, Mikael Bratt, President and CEO of Autoliv Global, attended the Ceremony and delivered a speech respectively.
