Erich Nesselhauf, Daimler Commercial Vehicles India, has been confirmed as a speaker at Automotive Megatrends India 2015. He will serve as a speaker in the Commercial Vehicle panel debate on Day 1 of the conference.

Nesselhauf is a member of the Truck Asia Executive Committee, the Daimler Trucks Asia top management board, as well as of the Executive Committee at Daimler India Commercial Vehicles Pvt. Ltd.
Nesselhauf is responsible for a supplier base of over 200 domestic and international suppliers. At SoP stage, he and his team have achieved a localization rate of over 80% based on material value and they control over 70% of the entire DICV value chain.
In his role as member of the Daimler Truck Group Procurement management team, Nesselhauf defines and implements global procurement processes and policies, performance management and tracking, as well as emerging market sourcing guidelines. Additionally, he coordinates all non-production material sourcing decisions.
Nesselhauf has a deep knowledge in all functions of supply chain like strategic sourcing, contract management, supplier assessment and development, supply chain design, quality assurance, project management as well as logistics.
Automotive Megatrends India is a two-day, multiple-stream conference focusing on commercial vehicles and passenger cars. The panel discussion on day two will cover the key megatrends which look set to shape the country’s car industry over the next ten years and beyond.
