Dr Manfred Schuckert, Head of Global Regulatory Strategy- Commercial Vehicles, Daimler, has been confirmed as speaker at Automotive World Megatrends Europe 14, taking place on September 10-11, 2014.

Dr Schuckert has been head of strategy development at Daimler’s Commercial Vehicles Group for more than six years. His work focuses on light commercial and heavy duty greenhouse gas/CO2 regulations worldwide, particularly in the US, Chinese and Japanese markets; criteria pollutant regulations (NOx, PM, etc) in the BRICS countries; and new fuel-related directives such as the European Renewable Energy Directive and the European Fuel Quality Directive.

Dr Schuckert started his career at the University of Stuttgart, followed by various positions within Daimler’s bus unit, EvoBus.  In 2007, he moved to Daimler’s Corporate Strategy department.

Organised by Automotive World, Megatrends Europe ’14 is a two-day, six-stream conference focusing on Commercial Vehicles and Passenger Cars.

Schuckert will speak in the as a panelist in Big Picture Panel Discussion, which will focus on the key megatrends that are set to shape Europe’s commercial vehicle industry over the next ten years and beyond.
