Christopher Kalebjian, Chief Engineer and Program Manager, Achates Power, has been confirmed as a speaker in the Fuel Economy and Emissions Reduction stream at Automotive World‘s Megatrends USA ’14, which takes place in Michigan on 18 March 2014.

Christopher Kalebjian is responsible for the development and delivery of a scalable, next-generation military engine, which is being designed for the US Army Tank Automotive Research, Development and Engineering Center.

Previously, he worked as Achates Power’s Senior Development Engineer, overseeing analysis, controls development, calibration and testing.

Kalebjian was also a diesel performance and emissions calibration engineer at GM, a systems application engineer at Visteon Corporation and a product design engineer at Ford. He received his BSME from Cornell University.

Organised by Automotive WorldMegatrends USA ’14 is a one-day, three-stream conference focusing on Connected Car Technology, Fuel Economy & Emissions Reduction and eMobility.

Christopher’s presentation, ‘Achieving light-duty fuel economy and emissions standards with the opposed-piston diesel engine’ will be at 1.30pm in Session 3 – Diesel Powertrain Technology, of Stream 1.
