The world’s largest tyre and rubber product company returns to Paris with a strong message of innovation, and invites everyone to come and experience it.

The 360m² stand (Bridgestone Hall 1, Stand 202) spotlights Bridgestone and Firestone brands’ latest developments in Europe. These include 4 innovative new tyres with 3 of them making their motor show debut, the latest iteration in road safety technology, plus some memorable on stand experiences.

New Bridgestone tyres on display

Star of the show is new Bridgestone DriveGuard: the tyre that keeps you going, whatever the puncture.[i] To find out why DriveGuard is a game-changer, take the surprising test drive on site – or live the whole positive experience on our VR system.

Seen for the first time at Paris is Bridgestone Dueler A/T 001: the new tough all-terrain, all-season tyre that gives drivers plenty of traction off-road, but won’t let them down on the tarmac.

Also new from Bridgestone is a demonstration of its Contact Area Information Sensing (CAIS) technology, fitted to a Blizzak LM001 winter tyre. CAIS warns drivers about road surface conditions, and illustrates how Bridgestone promotes technological development not only for tyres, but also for entire road safety systems.

Difficult to miss on the stand is the new Aston Martin DB11 with its 20” Potenza S007 sport tyres. Bridgestone was recently appointed exclusive tyre supplier for the DB 11.

Firestone’s promising newcomers

First, Paris welcomes new Firestone Roadhawk: the long-lasting tyre designed to give everyday drivers the endurance and safety they want, whatever the conditions, including the reassurance of EU label A grade for wet grip.

Second, also making its first appearance at Paris is Firestone Vanhawk 2 for commercial vans. It keeps the robust, durable performance that won so many friends for the original Vanhawk – but adds even better wet handling and fuel economy.[ii]

Lastly, and on a lighter note, Firestone invites all visitors to link up with the Firestone Music Tour – which sponsors the hottest summer music festivals across Europe – and test your voices at the Firestone Car-aoke with your favourite road-trip tunes!

The Bridgestone and Firestone teams look forward to seeing you at the Paris Motor Show 2016.
