PSA Retail, in partnership with the French National Automotive Training Association (ANFA), is this year once again taking part in Automotive Services and Mobility Week (#SSAM), being held from 16 to 23 March 2019.
This year, PSA Retail is significantly stepping up its commitment by participating in some thirty events in various formats across France, including:
- Open days at a number of PSA Retail sites offering an introduction to the jobs available in the sector (“PSA Retail Inside” campaign)
- Speed job interviews in apprentice training centres
- A job forum with municipal authorities
- A school forum
The event will be an opportunity to present a comprehensive overview of the 50 professions where there are currently openings and to promote them to potential applicants, particularly by mobilising staff to share their professional experience with job seekers at dedicated open days.
The campaign will be relayed on PSA Retail’s LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter pages.
The programme is perfectly aligned with the proactive youth employment policy implemented by Groupe PSA’s distribution group. Of PSA Retail’s 5,200 employees in France, a permanent contingent of 500 employees on work-study programmes embodies the “PSA Retail youth employment” policy, a breeding ground for future hires, with a high transformation rate to date. In fact, 65% of work-study employees are hired on permanent contracts at the end of their programmes.
