American Axle & Manufacturing, Inc. will display its product lineup at the 11th International CTI Innovative Automotive Transmissions, Hybrid & Electric Drives Symposium and Expo. The event will be held at the Maritim Hotel in Berlin, Germany, from December 3-6, 2012. This year’s symposium will focus on the overall development of conventional, hybrid and electric drives, state-of-the-art technologies and will take a glimpse into the future.

AAM’s EcoTracT AWD System enables a vehicle manufacturer to offer a crossover vehicle with an AWD option, optimizing fuel economy and reducing emissions, while maintaining enhanced vehicle control and efficiency.  e-AAM’s eAWD system is an advanced, compact electric all-wheel-drive system that requires minimal vehicle architecture modifications while providing fuel efficiency gains and improved stability and handling.  e-AAM’s portfolio includes technology for micro hybrid, hybrid, plug-in hybrid and electric vehicles.
