On October 19, AVTOVAZ officially transmitted five LADA Vesta cars to the car park of Togliatti Mayor Office. City officials will be the first ones to drive a new car which will be available for sale starting from November 25.
Presenting the keys to the Mayor, the President of AVTOVAZ Bo Inge Andersson noted that: “Togliatti is the home of LADA. 60% of LADA Vesta components are produced in Togliatti. It is our honour to render support to city administration and transmit to it the first five production LADA Vesta cars.”
One month prior to this event, Togliatti Mayor Sergey Andreev tested LADA Vesta and spoke positively of a new car. When receiving the cars, the Mayor stated: “LADA Vesta is a product of Togliatti engineering thought. Moreover, a lot of Togliatti experts have come to Izhevsk to support the launch and transfer their experience to local workers. This means that Vesta is done by one team. Thank you a lot for the cars. We need cars. And the fact that this is our LADA is especially pleasant. I’m sure that this new car will be very successful.”
Another five LADA Vesta cars will join the car park of the Mayor Office in the nearest future.
