Worsening Russian auto market leads to more production cuts

With the Russian market showing no signs of improvement, Nissan has cut production at its St Petersburg plant for the rest of this month

As the Russian automotive market's freefall continued in February, the situation for the vehicle manufacturers operating in the country is becoming desperate. Last month's 37.9% decline brought the total to 128,298 units and further deterioration is expected.
