New mobility trends are already having a profound impact on consumer behaviour. The arrival of ride-sharing and ride-hailing businesses is allowing inner-city customers to abandon the personal vehicle; on-demand last-mile mobility options are opening the door to integrated, multi-modal transportation; and increased in-vehicle connectivity is allowing more effective navigation and ADAS assistance. However, while the future of mobility promises many benefits, not all stand to automatically gain from this progress.
