One of the main concerns for motorists considering an EV is limited range, which can vary considerably by model. Despite the benefits of zero emissions driving, widely reported good driveability, and quietness, running out of power continues to deter some consumers. However, OEMs and suppliers are continually working on ways to ensure the vehicles are more viable for everyday use. The RAC, one of Britain’s leading breakdown providers, has just announced it is launching its first mobile electric charging system in order to provide assistance to the UK’s EV market, which now stands at over 9,000 vehicles.
