US President Barack Obama’s 2016 budget includes a request of approximately US$30bn for the Department of Energy (DOE) – a 9% increase on the previous year. The total expenditure for the US Department of Transportation (DOT) tops US$94.7bn, a significant amount of which will filter down to the fuel cell segment.
