Audi's interim CEO believes that mobility in the third dimension could play a key role in future transport, writes Megan Lampinen

Audi's brand positioning hinges on its technological prowess, and with a tagline like 'Vorsprung Durch Technik', it can't afford to ignore new developments. That includes flying vehicles. While some industry members scoff at the suggestion they will make it into the mainstream anytime soon, growing urbanisation and road congestion are demanding new solutions. A shift in some of the road volume to the sky could certainly make a big difference.
