The value of location intelligence is growing in line with greater reliance on real-time navigation services and increasingly automated driving. More map providers are starting to leverage cloud infrastructure and advanced development tools, shifting away from simply providing maps and navigation systems for automakers and instead adopting a platform approach. The idea is that bringing location intelligence and data analytics together to process real-time location data could pave the way for new services and capabilities.
