Hyundai and Kia have admitted to overstating the fuel economy ratings for some of their US line-up and are voluntarily adjusting the figures for about 900,000 (35%) of the 2011-13 model year vehicles sold through 31 October 2012. The move follows an audit by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
