March sheds optimistic light on UK automotive productivity

March saw passenger production in the UK stabilising after declining in the first two months of this year

Passenger car production levels in the UK may be swinging back to a positive trend. The first two months of this year saw output levels drop by 2% compared with the corresponding period in 2014. In March, however, car production in the country appears to have stabilised, with output levels improving again.
