Thailand’s auto capacity set to rise on new eco-car entrants

Thailand's automotive production capacity is set to increase after four more 100,000 upa eco-car projects were approved

Automotive production in Thailand has been on a decline for a while now. In fact, ever since the start of political uncertainty in the country, domestic demand has dropped significantly leading to a drop in output. Last month, new vehicle production in Thailand declined 13.7% compared with October 2013 levels, down to 159,000 units.
