It has been a good year for Tesla, according to Chief Executive Elon Musk. Speaking at the annual shareholders meeting, he said, “We've produced and sold a lot of cars.” The company has now expanded its retail locations to 126 around the world, “from China to Norway”, with 114 superchargers and 77 service centres. And those Teslas Model S and Roadster units currently on the road have now driven 344 million miles between them. So what is next for Tesla? This year at least, more software updates will be arriving, including the ability to name vehicles, additional customisation, learning driver behaviour, and improved mapping.
