Tata on Algeria’s promise for value-based brands

Automotive World speaks to the Head of International Business at Tata's Passenger Vehicle Business Unit on the promise of the Algerian market.

Indian giant Tata Motors recently entered the Algerian passenger car market, starting with the Tata Indica and the Tata Vista hatchbacks and the Tata Indigo and Tata Manza sedans. For this initial foray, it is working with SPA Elsecom on distribution and marketing in the country, which could represent a key growth market. Automotive World spoke to Johnny Oommen, Head of International Business at Tata's Passenger Vehicle Business Unit, on the promise of the Algerian market.
