Substituting carbon or glass fibres with organic renewable natural fibres could provide a way to bring down cost and ease the production process

The use of organic materials in the automotive industry is not new. This was primarily brought about due to various factors, such as reduction of energy used to produce a particular component, reduction of weight, or even cut costs. A lack of availability of certain materials, and rising or volatile commodity prices, have also furthered the cause of new organic, renewable materials in the automotive segment.
