Steel suppliers must achieve 70% emissions reduction by 2050

Companies that produce steel must significantly reduce their carbon footprints to meet the goals set out in COP21, observes Michael Nash

The Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) recently published a report that ranks steelmaking companies on a number of emissions and water-related metrics relevant to the industry. It identifies the world’s largest emitters in the steelmaking business, as well as those that have the smallest emissions footprints.
