Over the first ten months of 2014, South Africa's medium and heavy commercial vehicle (M&HCV) segments have not fared well. Thanks to subdued economic growth and pressure on consumers' disposable income, the country's automotive industry in general has declined. This is despite a low base in 2013, when strikes brought the industry to a halt.
