Shifter recall: FCA suggests the problem’s not with the car but with the driver

An 'unintuitive' gear shift design leads to the recall of 1.1 million vehicles. By Megan Lampinen

FCA finds itself forced to recall more than a million vehicles that technically don't have anything wrong with them. The problem in this case stems from the drivers, many of whom have either not read their owners' manual or failed to understand the instructions in it.
