Volkswagen Group brand SEAT has posted its first profit since 2008, marking a clear step away from its image as the weak link in an otherwise strong chain. In a dramatic reversal of fortunes, it managed to turn a €66m (US$74.4m) loss in 2014 into a €6m profit after tax last year. While not a massive amount of profit, it is a massive improvement. The total turnover last year rose 11% to €8.3bn.
