Rising demand for Achates opposed-piston engine

Achates Power, a California-based powertrain developer, improves internal combustion engines (ICEs) in order to deliver greater efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Although the company has not yet brought it to production, there is already significant interest and growing demand for the Achates Power opposed-piston two-stroke (OP2S) engine.
