Proterra says electrification trumps all in bus segment

There is a long list of benefits that come with using electric buses as opposed those that are powered by diesel, gasoline and natural gas

Electric buses offer many advantages over their traditional gasoline, diesel and natural gas (NG) counterparts, though there is still some uncertainty over costs and payback times. Ryan Popple, President and Chief Executive of Proterra, a leading manufacturer of zero-emission vehicles, suggests that the advantages far outweigh any disadvantages of electrification in the bus segment.
