Poland, Slovakia compete for major OEM investment

Jaguar Land Rover is looking to expand its manufacturing footprint. While the OEM has yet to decide on a location, Poland and Slovakia both claim to be close to winning the project

At the beginning of this month, Tata Motors-owned Jaguar Land Rover entered into a manufacturing partnership with Magna International's car manufacturing unit Magna Steyr. The agreement calls for Magna Steyr to produce some vehicles for JLR at its facility in Graz, Austria.
