Pent-up demand could see EU new car sales recover beyond 2016

The EU new car market remains challenging, but could pick up beyond 2016, says KPMG’s John Leech

The UK new car market is continuing to surprise and delight as it grows in stark contrast to many of the European car markets. Indeed, 2015 will see an all-time sales record for new cars in the UK, believes John Leech, Head of Automotive at KPMG in the UK. But there are positive signs for EU new car sales too, with 2015 and 2016 looking promising, and even better performance expected thereafter.
