New light vehicle sales in the US rose 4.6% last month to a level not seen in more than ten years, boosted by Black Friday days and continued low fuel prices. Figures from Autodata put the US seasonally annualised sales rate (SAAR) for November at 17.2 million units, ahead of many forecasts and the highest for any November since 2003.
