Nissan looks to cut logistics cost through US$160m supplier park

The planned US$160m supplier park in Smyrna, Tennessee will allow suppliers to deliver components within 1.5 miles of the final assembly point, slashing transport costs for Nissan

Nissan Group posted its best figures for the month of February, with sales across its Nissan and Infiniti divisions totalling 118,436 units in the US. This figure was 2.7% higher than the 115,360 vehicles sold by the group in the US in February 2014. While Nissan sales grew by 1.1%, Infiniti's sales in the country rose by 19.8% from a year earlier.
