Nissan furthers Japan’s mobility transformation

The message from Japanese OEMs - keep it small, keep it clean and share nicely

When it comes to car share in Japan, OEMs are pushing ultra-compact and electric. In March this year, Toyota announced it was taking its electric three-wheeler car share pilot to Tokyo using the ultra-compact i-Road model within the capital. Just a few weeks later Nissan has kicked off another phase of its own ultra-compact electric vehicle (EV) car share project.
