Mobility on demand to transform business models in 2015

2015 will see the launch of multiple mobility on demand services - which have the potential to change mobility for good

It is widely expected that cars will be able to drive completely autonomously from 2030 onward without the driver taking an active role, but for the time being, distance sensors, parking assistance or cruise control systems are already taking much of the burden off drivers and are supplied as standard, at least in the premium segment.

In the eventual move towards fully automated driving, which will change the way we drive for good, many automotive industry players predict that mobility on demand will have a significant influence on the short-term developments of autonomy in the industry.
