UK manufacturing segment sees expansion despite slowing market

JLR has decided to expand the workforce at its Solihull plant by bringing in production of a new Jaguar crossover

The automotive market in the UK had an excellent year in 2014, with new car registrations reaching a ten-year record. Last year, a total of 2,476,435 cars were registered - the highest since 2004 and the fourth-highest figure ever recorded in the UK.
