For daily commuters, driving feels routine, something that a self-driving car could easily do. In recent years, OEMs and technology companies have rapidly advanced the technology behind highly automated driving in the hopes of one day making this a reality. While the promise of a car that can drive itself and carry out the boring tasks drivers don’t want to do slowly becomes reality, there are still many hurdles left to overcome.
