2014 was a year where car recalls regularly grabbed the headlines: Takata continued its on-going investigation into faulty airbag claims, GM made numerous recalls and the US alone saw more than 62 million cars recalled for safety related issues– a record figure. There is further bad news in 2015, as both old and newly released models are called back for safety fixes.
