Large European exposure pays off for PSA

PSA has been working to reduce its reliance on Europe, but the region's continued revival is proving as asset

PSA Peugeot Citroen is making steady progress on its Back in the Race targets, with a solid third quarter (Q3) contributing to developments. Revenue in the July-September period rose 3.2% year-on-year to €12.39bn (US$13.7bn). Revenue at the Automotive Division alone was up 1% at €8.052bn, excluding contributions from the Chinese JVs. Overall sales volumes took a hit from contrasting regional performances, falling 4.3% as strength in Europe struggled to counteract the slowdown in China.
