The Brazilian automotive market has been going through a slow period, reflecting the softness in the country's economy. Domestic automotive demand declined by 7.2% in 2014, the worst decline recorded in more than ten years. If this was not bad enough, the country's exports have not been too good either, with demand from Argentina continuing to drop.
