JLR propels Tata’s expansion

JLR thrives, while excess capacity in India sees little expansion for Tata’s passenger vehicle operations

Global volumes of Tata Motors’ light vehicles (LV) are expected to rise to over 850,000 units in 2015 across its Tata and Jaguar and Land Rover (LR) brands. This will grow to nearly 1.3 million units by 2019, according to Jonathan Storey, author of the Automotive World report Tata Motors model plans and production outlook for 2019.
