In an attempt to advance the provision of charging units for plug-in vehicles, four Japanese OEMs – Nissan, Toyota, Honda and Mitsubishi – have agreed further plans to jointly promote a user-friendly network of charging infrastructures.

Following an agreement, the four companies announced on 19 July 2013 to jointly promote the construction of a network of charging infrastructures. They have now finalised details of the financial assistance they will offer to installers of charging stations.
