Italian momentum keeps EU on pace in February

February tends to be a seasonally weaker month for Europe as UK buyers postpone purchases ahead of the March plate change, writes Megan Lampinen

Europe's recovery continued into February with another solid month of growth for the main markets. Data from LMC Automotive shows that more than 1 million new cars were registered across Western Europe in February, a 13.8% rise year-on-year. Figures benefitted from one extra selling day, but even after adjusting for that the performance remained promising.
