Israel jostles for smart mobility test lab superiority

Israel plays an active, central role in the smart mobility industry. Companies such as Mobileye, Waze and Gett spawned from Israeli technology. The “start-up dream” has long since become an integral part of Israeli culture and local economy. The culture of the “start-up nation”, combined with the Israeli way of thinking, which promotes “thinking outside the box”, and with technological skills often attributable to the military and academic background of many local techies, have made Israel into a fertile ground for start-ups in many areas, including smart mobility.
