At Automotive Megatrends USA 2012, Automotive World recorded a video interview with Joel Hoffmann, Industry Partner Strategist in Intel’s Automotive Solutions Division. Hoffmann outlined the importance of the automotive industry to Intel, and the increasingly important role that non-traditional suppliers like Intel play in the development of connected vehicle technology. Since the interview, Intel has announced a US$100m Connected Car Fund, designed to help accelerate and promote innovation in the global automotive industry.
