Hyundai design taps fringe benefits as brand follower

From a business point of view, being a design follower is not necessarily a bad thing.

Hyundai is displaying an upgraded Grandeur (Azera outside Korea) and the exterior design of a new flagship premium sedan codenamed AG at the Busan International Motor Show, which opened on 29 May and runs through 8 June. Speaking at the event, Choong Ho Kim, President and Chief Executive of Hyundai, stated: "Amid tougher business conditions and fiercer competition, Hyundai Motor is continuously striving to provide products and services with solid fundamentals. We place customer satisfaction before anything else, and the improved Grandeur and AG, introduced today, are at the centre of these efforts, fully reflecting our customers’ voices.”
