Honda is bringing in new leadership in the midst of what could turn into a safety crisis. Its President and Chief Executive Takanobu Ito has announced that he will hand over his responsibilities to current Managing Officer Takahiro Hachigo as of April. At this time, Ito will assume the post of Director and Advisor to the company.
