Buoyed by extra selling days and despite growing economic uncertainty in Greece, new car sales in Western Europe rose 14.2% year-on-year in June. The month's performance marked a notable recovery from May, when the market slowed to a near halt. According to figures from LMC Automotive, June's selling rate topped 13.2 million units per year as all of the five major markets recorded strong results.
