Fresh investments in Mexico, China as part of Toyota’s manufacturing realignment

Toyota has outlined plans for a realignment of its manufacturing operations in North America, which affect Canada and Mexico specifically. The OEM has also decided to restructure and expand its Chinese JV

Toyota has announced a significant realignment of its manufacturing operations in North America, which includes investments in Mexico to the tune of US$1bn for a new vehicle manufacturing plant. The OEM has also decided to expand its joint venture in China, Guangzhou Toyota Motor (GTMC).
