Autonomous emergency braking (AEB) could soon become as standard as seat belts, but without the official paperwork backing it up. In what many are hailing as a big step forward for safety, a group of 20 vehicle manufacturers have agreed to make AEB a standard feature on most of their new passenger cars in the US.
