Ford throws light on the aluminium aspect of the new F-150

Ford has embarked on a new way of manufacturing the popular F-150 pick-up. In line with a shift to greater aluminium use, there are certain changes to the manufacturing process

Recently, Ford commenced production of the aluminium-intensive 2015 F-150 pick-up at its Kansas City Assembly Plant, which has now joined the OEM's Dearborn Truck Plant in production of this model. According to Ford, this new F-150 remains one of its fastest turning vehicles on dealer lots.
