Ford makes a statement with all-new Mondeo Hybrid

Ford recently commenced the production of its first hybrid electric car to be both built and sold in Europe. Automotive World spoke to Powertrain Engineering Supervisor Thomas Zenner, who has spent 15 years developing gasoline engines at the OEM, but over the past two years has honed his efforts on the electrification of powertrains. He discussed Ford's hybridisation strategy and the significance of offering a hybrid version of the new Mondeo.
